Co-Located with 18th Privacy Enhancing Technologies Symposium (PETS 2018)

The H2020 EU projects DECODE and NEXTLEAP are kindly sponsoring an “Open
Day for Privacy, Transparency, and Decentralization” (OPERANDI 2018) on
July 23 (i.e., the day before the start of PETS 2018).

//What is OPERANDI 2018?

The Open Day will feature a mix of panels and a contributed poster session,
attracting young researchers, activists, hackers, and students interested
in technology, society, ethics, and policy aspects of privacy and privacy

The final schedule will be announced closer to the event, however, it will
take place at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona -- the same
venue as PETS

on July 23rd starting at 2pm and ending at
​ ​
Participants are then invited to join the PETS Welcome Reception at 7pm.

//How can I participate?

Thanks to our sponsors, the event is free of charge, but registration is
mandatory. Please register using https://operandi2018.eventbrite.com/ by
July 20, 2018.

If you wish to present a poster about your work on any aspects of privacy,
transparency, and/or decentralization, please submit a PDF with a one-page
abstract (using 11pt Times font and 2cm margins), including a title,
author(s) and affiliation(s), and a short description of what the poster
will roughly contain.

Submissions should be sent to operandi at emilianodc.com by June 18th, 2018.
We will review all submissions and notify you of acceptance/rejection by
June 23rd, 2018.
