The International Computer Science Institute (https://www.icsi.berkeley.edu/)
and the Berkeley Laboratory for Usable and Experimental Security (
https://blues.cs.berkeley.edu) are soliciting applications for either a
postdoctoral research associate or a professional research programmer. The
research will involve examining applications' access to sensitive user data
on the Android platform, with a goal of designing systems that empower
users to make better decisions about their privacy.
An ideal candidate will have familiarity with the internals of the Android
operating system, as this project involves modifying AOSP, and generally
strong systems skills. Candidates should also have an interest in
privacy/security, machine learning, and/or human-computer interaction.
To apply, send your CV to Serge Egelman (egelman at cs.berkeley.edu) and CC
jobs at icsi.berkeley.edu by February 29, 2016.
