		First International Summer School on
			   Secure Voting

			     SecVote 2010

	Wednesday 1 - Saturday 4 September 2010, Bertinoro, Italy

			Call for Participation

In recent years, interest in electronic voting has soared. However, the
security of electronic voting systems is not trivially assessed. The
SecVote summer school aims to provide researchers interested in this
field a fundamental basis for further research.

The school is divided into 4 blocks, as follows.

Block 1: Voting Systems

Block 3: Analysis and Verification of voting systems

- Ralf Kuesters (University of Trier, Germany)

Block 4: Practical security of election systems
- Bart Jacobs (Radboud University, Netherlands)

The school is organized at the University Residential Center of
Bertinoro, Italy:
The host venue provides accommodation, meeting rooms, and modern
conference facilities with computing services and Internet access.

Registration fee is 400 Euros and covers costs for 4 nights (from 31st
of August) in double room, half board (breakfast and lunch), dinner of
31 August included.

A limited number of student grants are available, see the website for
more details.

SecVote 2010 is organised with the kind support of the ECRYPT II
European Network of Excellence and the University of Melbourne.

School partners
FOSAD 2010 summer school on Foundations of Security Analysis and Design.

The FOSAD 2010 program will cover foundations of cryptography,
verification of cryptographic protocols, trust management, wireless
security, anonimity and privacy, analysis security APIs, and web
services security.

For those wishing to attend both SecVote and FOSAD, please keep an eye
on the website for special arrangements (currently being investigated).
